Last Updated: March 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using this website, contacting us through forms, or requesting consulting or training services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this website. If you are under 16, you may use the website only with involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

2. Educational and professional disclaimer

Cho-Eiendom AS provides consulting, educational resources, workshops, and training programs for professional development. All materials and sessions are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation.

  • Participation does not guarantee financial, career, business, academic, or professional outcomes.
  • Any examples, templates, or exercises are illustrative and may require adaptation before use.
  • Clients and participants remain solely responsible for their own decisions, actions, and implementation.

Sessions may include invited specialists or subject matter experts. The involvement of a specialist does not change the educational nature of the engagement and does not create any professional-client relationship beyond the scope agreed in writing.

3. Description of services

The website describes consulting services, workshops, and training programs delivered primarily online to support Canada-wide participation, with on-site delivery arranged where available. Service details such as agenda, learning outcomes, deliverables, timing, and any prerequisites are confirmed during scoping or in written materials provided before delivery.

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the website or our offerings at any time. Changes may include updated program outlines, revised schedules, or revised materials. If a change affects an active engagement, we will communicate it through the contact details used for that engagement.

4. Inquiries and communications

When you send an inquiry, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We use the information to respond, scope the request, and maintain a correspondence record. We aim to respond within 1 business day when possible, but response times may vary based on volume and the nature of the request.

Communication is typically handled by email. In some cases, we may propose a short scoping call to confirm objectives, constraints, and delivery format.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the website lawfully and in a way that does not harm the website, other users, or Cho-Eiendom AS. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, server, or connected systems.
  • Introduce malware, spyware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or intercept data.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the website in a way that degrades performance or bypasses access controls.
  • Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information through forms or email.
  • Use the website for spam, phishing, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or probe for vulnerabilities.

6. Intellectual property

The website content, brand elements, program descriptions, written materials, templates, and design (including text, graphics, and layout) are owned by Cho-Eiendom AS or licensed to us, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the website for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any portion of the website or materials without prior written permission from Cho-Eiendom AS.

7. Third-party services and links

This website may reference third-party services that are not controlled by Cho-Eiendom AS. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. If you access a third-party website or service, you do so at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cho-Eiendom AS disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We also do not warrant that educational materials will meet specific professional, regulatory, or organisational requirements without custom scoping.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cho-Eiendom AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or anticipated savings, arising out of or related to your use of the website or reliance on its content.

To the extent Cho-Eiendom AS is found liable for any claim, our total liability for direct damages shall be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Cho-Eiendom AS for the applicable services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) NOK 1,500.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for wilful misconduct or mandatory consumer rights where applicable.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cho-Eiendom AS, its directors, officers, contractors, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the website; (b) your submissions through the website; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your infringement of any rights of another party.

11. Force majeure

Cho-Eiendom AS is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, labour disputes, power or telecommunications outages, internet disruptions, cloud or hosting failures, or cyberattacks.

12. International use

The website is operated from Norway. Service area communications on this website describe delivery intended for Canada-wide teams and individuals; however, we do not represent that the website or materials are appropriate or legally available in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws where you access the website.

13. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the website shall be brought before the courts of Oslo, Norway, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

14. Dispute resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and provide a brief description of the issue. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days where practical. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief when necessary to prevent immediate harm.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access could create security or legal risk. Sections related to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Cho-Eiendom AS concerning your use of the website and supersede any prior understandings regarding that subject.

18. Assignment

Cho-Eiendom AS may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

19. No waiver

Failure by Cho-Eiendom AS to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

20. Modifications to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page unless a shorter period is required for legal or security reasons. Your continued use of the website after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
